I have been using JBL Go and Blaupunkt BT01 for many years now. I have also tried JBL Flip 3 and Blaupunkt BT52 and can compare them with the Portronics SoundDrum 1 10W TWS Portable Bluetooth 5.0 Speaker.

Portronics SoundDrum 1 is heavy compared to others (except Flip 3) and looks sturdy. The base has rubber grip to minimize vibrations during play and for grip on the table.

Bluetooth connections is miles better than JBL Go and BT52. It is reliable and does not drop even when the source is in the other room with a wall in between. Type C port for charging is a blessing. Playback time is around 10 hours. There is a USB port as well for songs playback via pen drive.

The sound quality is also very good with good bass. Mids and highs are also good for the price range. Obviously it cannot match JBL Flip 3 in quality but I am not complaining about the price.

FM radio tuning is a bit on and off with clear signal tuning a task.

Overall value for money speaker and you can easily buy this rather than going for JBL Go.
